Gordon, I have no info re Reuben Boswell's parents. I only know that he was from Spotsylvania, VA; fought in the Amer Rev. War, and moved, with his mother, to the Mecklenburg Co area, NC in 1781. I have quite a bit of info about his offspring and wife. I can tell you his name is on a monument in front of the Union Co, NC courthouse honoring those who served in the Rev. War.
