Looking for the parents of Mary L. Boswell whose obituary states she was born Aug. 14, 1837 in Darlington County,
SC. (The 1900 NC census states she was born in NC?)
She was twice married... the first time to Mr. William Bowman of NC and then to Mr. John N. Sumner of SC. There were thirteen children by these two marriages. Mary died Jan. 19, 1910 and is buried in Spring Hill Cemetery, Wagrum, NC. Known children are Minnie Loyal Sumner(Wilkes), Carrie Sumner, Emily Lula Sumner (Owen), Edward/Edwin Sumner, Lois/Louise Sumner, and Margaret Elizabeth Sumner. Other children may be named Pat, Nettie, Sarah (Sallie) Robena, and Frances.
Any information on Mary L. Boswell's family would be greatly appreciated.
