Hello Russell,
Ralph certainly died pre 1844, as Ellen definitely remarried then. The Astbury PR gives Ellen Bostock, of full age, otp, widow, daughter of late William Fox, married Thomas Webb, full age, widow, otp, farmer on 20/11/1844.
No sign of Ralph's death back to 1837.
Looking for Ellen in the 1841 census, she is found on 119/20 folio 7, age 45 (rounded up), female servant.
You will have to look under Webb to find any later records.
