Sorry that should have read 'Gilberti, filio Rogeri' whose services were mentioned in the deed and are not further described as regards surname. A Gilbert, described as 'de Bostoc', seems to have been born c. 1250 and lived through into the next century when he occurs in deeds with his son William.
