It is a different Hugh. This one is the fifth earl of Chester whereas 'Lupus' was the first earl. As regards Roger son of Richard' the deed which granted his services does not give any surname or describe Roger further. It is assumed for a rather complicated reason associated with the lordship of Warmingham and the Mainwaring family that he is a member of the Bostock family. Cheers.
