I know something about this Charles. He was a scholar in 1861, a farm servant in 1871, and an iron works labourer in 1881.
He had 4 brothers and 2 sisters. I know living relatives from his brother Thomas.
His parents were James and Ruth, but I don't know the line any further back.
Is he your ancestor? I only know of him having 4 sons, and one grandson.
