I show JOSHUA D. BOSTICK (b. ca 1785, Ninety Six, SC/d. 1834 in Twigg Co., GA) as the son of Stephen and Nancy Ann Richardson Bostick. His grandparents were John Bostick (b. ca. 1776 in VA/d. 8-16-1796 in Abbeyville, SC) and Jane ?.This John Bostick was the son of William & Micha ? Bostick.
This Joshua D. Bostick married in the Ninety Six Dist., SC ca 1815 to LUCINDA ?.He later moved to Baldwin Co., GA where he had 17 slaves in 1816.By 1820, he was in Twigg Co., GA where he served twice as Justice of the Peace during the 1820s.The 1830 census shows him owning 18 slaves. He was in the war of 1812 in SC.From Alabama Civil War records, I found a Joshua D. Bostick in the 11th Inf., Co. E, but I do not know if it was the same Joshua D. Bostick.
