Dear T. F.:
In your comings and goings, have you run across a Margaret E. who mard. a Boston or Bostain and had 3 children that I know of: Polly, Jesse and Jacob? In 1857, I find her married to a William Hicks in Carroll Co., TN. What happened to her husband and how in the world did she get to Carroll Co., TN.? I do find a Margaret E. Goodman mard. to a John Bostain in 1845 Rowan Co., NC but that would make them married too late to have a daughter, Polly who was 18 in 1860 making her born 1842. What to think? I don't know.
Can you help? Thank you, Brenda
