Bossert Family Genealogy Forum

Hi Christy!
I believe we may have some connection. My Bossard/ Bossert line is from Lehigh Township, Northampton County. In early tax records there is a Michael Bossert in this township, later a Jacob Bossert shows up. There is a Conrad Buzart I think it was spelled in the 1790 census for Lehigh Township and a Catrina bossert in the 1800 ( im not looking at my notes at the moment so I could be off on which year it was, but it was early census). I have no proof but I believe that Michael may have been the father of Jacob. Its possible that he also had a son Conrad who didnt stay in the township and moved, but I dont know where to. I am looking into this now. I believe Jacob had 4 sons and a daughter, Jacob, John, George and Daniel. I do not know the daughters name. The first Jacobs wifes name was Elisabeth (she was first married to a Jacob Fatzinger, this I know for sure, I found in a deed). I do not know who Jacob Bossert Jr married. I dont even know what happened to him. He may have moved out of the area. If any of this sounds familiar Id love for you to email me and maybe put our heads together to figure out where they came from. I do have more info I can share with you and I would love to know what info you have as well. My email addy is Tracyrdz@ptd.net. Take care!
Tracy
