My Grandfather Adam Boss was born in NC in 1853. Per oral history. The Boss Family came from holland and Germany to the NY area and then to NC, and on to Ga. My Grandfather was born in 1853. Many family members of other imigrants atayed together for support. They intermarried and my grandparents settled in Southwest Ga. My father is Alex Boss son of Adam and had other brothers and one sister. One brother was killed in the first world and is burried in Flanders Field in France. My Grandmother was one of the Gold Star Mothers who took the trip to france on a special trip for all mothers who lost son's and were burried in France. My Grandmother died in Columbus Ga. and is buried there.
