My GGgrandmother was named: Renewed Boss Warner. Renewed married James Madison Warner of New York. James Madison Warner was born in Herkimer, NY. I know that Renewed was born in RI but am not sure of the exact town but I believe it was probably around the Providence area, possibly Exeter. The name of Exeter comes up, because in the Rhode Island, 1870 census she is listed at that time, in Exeter. I am wondering if anyone knows what Boss family lived there at that time. I imagine that Renewed was living back in Rhode Island at that time because she was needed, possibly to care for someone in the famiy, that was ill. Maybe it was a parent or a sibling. Does anyone know of anyone named Renewed in their family? Does anyone know anything about an Edward Boss or a Benjamin Boss? Did they live in that area, & could they possibly be related to Renewed?
Renewed, had a daughter Susannah Melissa Warner, who went by Melissa for most of her life. Melissa married William Watkins of Durhamville, NY. Melissa was my Ggrandmother,& she is buried in Ovid, MI as is Renewed Boss Warner. Renewed's husband, James Madison Warner is buried in Syracuse, NY. I notice that someone was asking about a Melissa Boss, & it makes me wonder if that Melissa may have been related to the same family as Renewed Boss Warner. If anyone knows anything about Renewed, please let me know. Not too many people probably had that name. I would appreciate any info. Thankyou.
