Amanda Boss
ABERNATHY - Funeral services for Amanda Bell Boss, 91, were at 3 p.m. Sunday in Northside Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Martin, pastor, officiating. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Roxton Cemetery in Roxton with the Rev. Jerry Boss, her son, officiating. Burial arrangements are by Abell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Boss died Friday, Dec. 27, 1996, at her residence.
She was born Dec. 25, 1905, in Kentucky. She moved to Abernathy from Grand Prairie and was a Baptist.
She married Norman Boss. He is deceased.
Survivors include her son, the Rev. Jerry Dale Boss of Los Fresnos; three daughters, Lucille Mahagan of Abernathy, Johnnie Belle Cullum of Eustes and Diana Gayle Allison of Los Fresnos; a brother, William E. Stamper of McAllister, Okla.; 21 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and 25 great-great-grandchildren.
