Hi Wayne,
Elias Boss is a gggrandfather of my husband, Mike. Mikes family were from Gove Co., KS. Elias' dau. Stella married Hiram Marion Dickson and they were my husbands great grandparents. This line seems to be pretty well researched, but wondered if you knew any more about the Henness side. On the 1910 Gove Co, KS census, Elias and his wife Mary have brother-in-law Oliver Henness living with them. He states he was born in TX in ca. 1855. I was curious how they went to TX from IL (where Mary was born ca 1851) and later came to be in KS. Do you know? Do you know who Mary and Oliver's parents were? Mary and Oliver both state that father was born in KY and mother born in IN.
Any help really appreciated
