I am a descendent of John Boss of Alma Center, Wisconsin, born in Germany in 1818. He married Laura Jane Taylor, they had 5 children, Stella, John Melvin, Gilbert, Mary, Gertrude
John Melvin married "Effie" Belle Meeks and they had two children, Harvey and Dennis. Dennis was my grandfather. I have not been able to find any other information on Gilbert (b. 1869), Mary (b. 1872) or Gertrude (b. 1875). Does this help you?
