Morris Boss [b. 15 March 1812] married Mariah Parks [b. c. 1818 in Ohio] in Berrien Co., MI. They resided there with their children Laurel b. 1856 [Laurel is male!] and Nettie until about 1860 when they moved to Iowa. Morris died 15 Feb 1878 and is buried in Lucas County. His wife, Mariah, died 23 January 1887 and is also buried in Lucas Co.
Laurel married Jane Cox in Iowa and he died in 1921 and is also buried in Lucas County.
We believe Mariah is the daughter of Ebenezer Walker Parks and that she was born in Huron County, OH. Ebenezer Parks moved to Lenawee County, MI c. 1846/1849 and died in 1853.
