Badovinatz is surname from Zhumberak (Moutain near Karlovac in Croatia). This is Uskok surname.Original it was Serbian ortodox surname but in this region ortodox make union with Roman Pope. Now they have called Greek-Catholic(Unijati).
Uskok mean the christian man who came from Turkish teritory.Uskok was very good solger and Austrian Monarhy at first use them in war against Turkish and Venicians.
After the peace with Venicians Austria must relocated them from the region of North Dalmatia (Senj,Klis) on the Zhumberak.
