This is great that you have showed us the family in Australia. I have not been able to make a direct connection yet. But, we are a lot closer to making that connection. It is appearent that we are connected by the familiar family names in your small tree. In Drinovci, Glavas, and Grubisic are very common to the area. What could help us perhaps is your fathers, brothers and sisters names and married wifes and husbands. This could narrow the search for a match.
Ask your father if he is familiar with the Clan he may be connected with. Their are four. Jurenovci, Jozonovci, Nikolanovci, and Blaznovci. Perhaps that could narrow down the search. These clans are the sons of Bono Pandzic. I am a Jurenovci clan member.
One problem I have in my tree that I have put together is this. Some of the information was submitted by Ivan Pandzic from Zagreb, Croatia, my fathers cousin. His hand written tree in some areas is not transcibed due to illegible areas that could not be followed. I am making a trip to Zagreb in May 07 to fix this. I'll meet with him then.
I am also interested in the information you submitted with Anda Grubisic. She is from "Bovani, Drinovci". One thing I am frustrated with is I have no map of the Drinovci area. If you know how I can aquired one let me know. I have made many attempts on the internet to track one down without any luck. My line of Pandzics lived on a hill southeast of town in the area known as "Graovisce"(bean field). Where is "Bovani" in relation to the town?
When I return home after the New Year. I will look in the hand written tree to see if any if the names I could not enter in the published tree are there. I am in California for the Holidays.
