Searching for George Nicolaevich Pleskachov
Posted by: Claudia Pleskatschow (ID *****7240) Date: April 14, 2004 at 10:01:43

my name, spelled in Russian is as follows:
Klavdia Olegovna Pleskachova.
I am daughter of OLEG NIKOLAEVICH PLESKACHOV and he was born in Yugoslavia after my grandparents left Russia in 1917. He is the son of Nikolai Filipovich Pleskachov and Klavdia Mijailovna. He also has a brother named GEORGE that was missing in WWII.
My father is now, 82 years old and we are living in Caracas, Venezuela - South America. He came to Venezuela in 1947, right after the end of WWII directly from Austria, and there he received the last name of PLESKATSCHOW instead of Pleskachov.
Nowadays, having this marvelous technology of Internet, we are trying to search my uncle.
We do not know if he still alive or he has changed his last name.
We will be very grateful to receive some information about him. Feel free to respond to this forum
Many thanks (spasibo)
