Bosansky-origin of name--pre1900

My maiden name was Bosansky. My grandfather Stephen Bosanszky (magyar "z" added) grew-up on a dairy farm somewhere in Austro-Hungary which included Bosnia. I am told that he could speak Italian, "Slavic", German, as well as Hungarian. A woman told me that the name Bosansky is a very old Bosnian name going back to the Bogamil. I would like any information about the origin of the name. I also know there are Bosansky's who live in Slovakia. Any information will be appreciated.
