Does this sound familiar to anyone?
I am looking to confirm the GOOD/Bosley marriage.
The GOOD's and Putman's were related by marriage. The GOOD's lived on Lot #9 next to the the Bosley's Lot #10 in Hampshire County along Patterson's Creek.
Thnaks for your help.
Best regards, Bill

James Bosley -- wife Elizabeth ?.

I know the Bosley’s lived in Frederick County, VA until 1790 when they purchased land on Pattersons Creek, Hampshire Co. (now W. Va.) Hampshire Co Deed Index only goes to 1800 --one Bosley found before 1800. July 11, 1790 Peter Putman of Hampshire Co sold to James Bosley of Frederick Co VA, 147 acres (half of lot # 10 PCM) on Patterson Creek Rec. April 14, 1791 Wit. - John Cundiff, Henry Liller and George Hill.

A Mary Bosley married a Jacob Good in Washington Co. in 1776. They were first found in Washington county Md. in 1779 than moved to Ebinsburg, Cambria Co., PA. Her mothers name was Catherine.
