Looking for John Bosley, Baltimore 1847

I have a death notice in the Baltimore Sun newspaper in 1847 of a John Johnston. The record says he is the brother-in-law of John Bosley.
I believe this is John Bosley, born Baltimore 1818,
who was son of James Bosley, born 1768 in Baltimore,
who was son of Ezekiel Bosley, born Baltimore,
who was son of James Bosley, born Baltimore 1705,
who was son of Walter Bosley, born Staffordshire, England 1668.
But, I cannot identify the reported brother-in-law relationship to John Johnston.
Does anyone have information on this family??
