Tillie, My GGGF was John P. Ferguson born Oct. 22, 1836 in Chester Co. South Carolina. Married Mary Martha Boshell born March 4, 1843 in Walker County, Alabama. John died April 28, 1866, buried in a small cemetery Holly Grove, Walker County, Alabama next to his brother James T. Ferguson. Mary died Feb. 22, 1902 buried in Boshell Cemetery in Townley, Walker County, Alabama. Mary remarried Simpson D. Smith.
I have info on one son of John and Mary. His name is John Jerry Ferguson born May 1, 1862 and died May 5,1937 and buried Boshell cemetery Townley Walker County, Alabama.
