I also have a Rosario Bosco, but it's a woman (& was known here in the States as "Sara"), my gggm. She was born about 1855 in Sicily, I believe. I have a record of her coming to the States on the Berlin ship on 2/13/1913 from Palermo into Ellis Island w/her husband, Vincenzo Pecoraro (and probably other family). They settled in Chicago and on Vincenzo's death certificate, it was filled out that she was born in "Pina di Eugenia, Italy". Their daughter, Francesca, married Michele Inglima, who was from Casteltermini (which is north of Agrigento in Sicily). I don't know where Trapani is and the only town I can find close to the name on the previous message is Roccamena, which is not too far away from Casteltermini.
