I haven't researched the Irwin name at all (that's my husband's job) so I don't think that I have had contact with you on that line.
I am descended from this BORUFF family through John and Catherine (Miller) BORUFF's son, Daniel BORUFF, and through Daniel's daughter, Lucinda BORUFF who married Hiram SORRELLS. How are you descended from John BORUFF? You spoke of your great-grandmother, Kate BORUFF, but didn't say who she was.
In your original message you mention that John BORUFF and John MILLER were found living next to each other on the 1820 census. Did you mean to say they were on the 1810 census? I checked the 1820 Ohio Co., KY, census and couldn't find John BORUFF under any spelling. However, a John BROWRUFF was on the Ohio Co., KY, 1810 census living next door to a John MILLER. We believe that John BORUFF was on the 1820 Madison Co., IL, census.
