father - "William" Bortner (should be "Michael" ???)
mother - Catherine Sweitzer
informant: Woodrow L. Clow (son-in-law???)
[ NOTE: see 1850 Shrewsbury, York Co., PA, fam 131/
1860 Shrewsburry, York Co., PA fam 375 /
1870 York Co., PA /
1900 Lewis Co., MO, ED 51, fam 35 /
1910 Lewis Co., MO, ED 57, line 71 ]
NOTE: the Joshua who d. 1955 in MO is NOT the same Joshua in 1900 Morrow Co., OH ... believe the Joshua in OH to be the son of Adam Bortner
