Hi Susan, I dont find any connection. I do have Humbert family back to Noel Humbert b. abt 1534 - Nue Kelterback, Germany. Bortner/Porterner back to Balzar Pauley Porterner b.1698 in Germany. My gggrandmother was Margaret Humbert Portner. Third great grandfather Jacob Humbert Bortner SR.
Fourth great grandparents Phillip (b. 1766 York Co., PA) and Anna Margaretha Humbert Bortner (b. 1773 Frederick Co., MD). More information if you would like. I can construct a GEDCOM file if can handle.
