Searching for any descendants of:
1. Alexander Borthwick & Janet Blaiklaw, married 27 June 1871 at Tweedsmuir, Scotland. Known children were Elizabeth, baptised 1784, and Robert, baptised 1786. Robert's wife may have been Christian / Christina Neilsen. He was a shepherd at Meggethead when he died.
2. Alexander Borthwick & Agnes Hyslop, married 10 June 1891 at Tweedsmuir, Scotland. Known children were Margaret, baptised 1792 at Tweedsmuir who married James Carruthers; William born circa 1804 who married Agnes Laing; and Alexander, born c. 1807 who married Janet Clark.
