Thought I'd try posting a message about another one of my lost Borthwicks. She was the daughter of John BORTHWICK & Elizabeth DINWOODIE.
Jean Borthwick was baptised on 13 July 1787 in Tweedsmuir & survived to adulthood. I know very little about her & would love to know more. She married & had at least two children Angus?/Agnes? & John, probably both born around 1820, but possibly much earlier.
Jean was still alive in July 1843 as she was at that time visiting her brother Robert in Philadelphia, USA. Who did Jean marry? Where did she live? What happened to her children & are there any descendants today?
Would love to hear from any reader with information about my lost Jean.
