The dates fit well within my notes. James Borthwick's daughter Jane was born 1824, daughter Isabella in 1831. Another dau. Margaret died very young. Jane married Alexander Lay, Isabelle married Timothy Scott. James Borthwick's first year of teaching in Meaghers Grant, Nova Scotia was 1816. I would love to learn about William's life if you don't object to sending the info.
