Tom, thank you for your info. I also have the McElvany-Born family genealogy of 1932. I am seeking info of the John Born line back and found that once John lived in Laurens county South Carolina. He had 200 acres of land in an area known as the Beavercreek Dam area. I am looking for info before this and want to find connection back to Germany. So far I have been unsuccessful. Any thing you have would be apreciated. Thanks..Jim Born
