Yes, it is not only possible, it is a fact. Dr Archibald Borland is related to Archibald Borland, the Californian millionaire (gold miner). I would not disagree that someone from Kilraughts was from near Coleraine. I would prefer to say "near Ballymoney", but Coleraine is a much bigger place than Ballymoney, and therefore more recognisable. James Borland of Ballynag (Ballyrashane) was descended from John in Kilraughts.
