Hello, in search of other Borgmann's on the net, i came accross your site. I don't know much about my family, helas. The things I do know, I'll share with you. My grandfather was Johan Willem Borgmann, and he was in the dutch navy in the beginning of 1900. I have never known him, because he die very young. He lived in Den Helder in North Holland. My father was only child, his name was Emile Johan Borgmann, and he lived all his life in Amsterdam. Further I know that all the Borgmann's in Amsterdam are relatives, for instance: the founder of hotel Borgmann, the butchery Borgmann, the garage Borgmann, and so on. I hope have tributed something to your genealogy, and hope to hear from you via E-mail. Perhaps I can do some research here in Holland concerning our family name.
