Greetings! It's really uncanny how many of the Borgman names you have are the same as the ones in my line. My GG-Grandfather was John Garrett (Jarrett) Henry Borgman, listed sometimes as J.G.H. Borgman. There were 5 brothers that came over, but there was supposedly at least one brother that stayed in Hanover, Prussia. Maybe he came later & is the one that ended up settling in Ohio (based on where kids were born that you posted) and then Kentucky. I'm not sure if you have visited my Homesite, you might want to check out some of the data in there and compare it. The odd thing is that our Borgman's were connected with the Wesling's as well, there were some of them that settled in Preston County, WV along with our Borgman's. I'll bet our Borgman's are in the same family but I'm not sure how we'd go about finding the connection. Our Borgman's came over here in 1837 and in the Borgman Booklet it said the other brothers followed a few years after. Yours appears to have gotten here about 1842, very close to the time of ours. Email me if you need more info at: Sunset@Royal.Net My Homesite is at: http://www.digizen.net/members/sunset Thanks for all your info!
