died 23 March 1820. in Starten. She was a widow.
In the death register book it is written that she was 90 yrs, 6 mos old.
Her husband J H B died 6 Feb 1784 in his 51st year.

all these marriages in Ankum took place in St Nicolaus church!)
She was born 4 Nov 1801 , the daughter of the married couple Berns
Heinrich Kroger and Anna Maria Fullenkamp from the 'life estate'
of Niebergs in tutingen.

She died 27 Jan 1853
The widower Fibbe, who lived in Grovern, married then a2nd time on
7 Sept 1854 in Ankum, a much younger wife Maria elisabeth hermeling from
Grovern. She was 32 yrs younger than her husband. He died of TB on
27 Feb 1867 in Grovern.
- On the page of your computer that you sent me (Margaret von der Haar)
are 2 children Johan Heinrich Borgman, son age 16 (the one born 30 Jun 1837)
and Caroline Borgmann, daughter age 2. Actually this couple had one

Johan Henrich Borgmann b 24 May 1768 in Starten, son of Johan
Herm(ann) Borgman and Anna Maria Pulsing became later the owners
of the farm Johann Lanvers in Westerholte. He died on 18 Apr 1857
in westerholte and was buried on 21 Apr in Ankum.
Johan Lanvers nee Borgmann farmer of Westerholdt 88 yrs 10 mos 24 days
old, cause of death 'old age'
Parents: The "hired man" Johan Herman Borgman and Anna Maria nee Pulsing.
His 2nd wife died on 28 Apr 1867 in westerholte and was buried on 1 May
in Ankum. Borgman, Anna Maria Gertrud, farmer's widow of Westerholte.
She was 78 yrs 1 mo, 26 days old, cause of death "old age".
Parents : Colonus Gerhard Heinrich griese nee Henning of Grovern and
Margareta Maria nee Griese.
Heir of the farm was his son Johan Dietrich, born 1 June 1817. He married
on 12 Oct 1864,in Ankum, Maria Anna Elisabeth Miethe from Thieme near
Alfhausen. She was born 8 Feb 1837 in thieme, the dautghter of the
"hirelings' Gerhard Miethe & wife Maria Elisabeth nee Wefeler.
On the marriage certificate of Johann Dietrich, his name appears as
"Landwehr" nee Borgmann.(It seems that it was common to adopt the
name of the place that you inherited or purchased).
His daughter Wilhelma Gertrud, the grandmother of Mrs Wilma Wissman
of Bersenbruck (I visited them) then keeps the family name of
Landwehr at her marriage.

of translating this (altho Margaret speaks English quite well).
I attempted to put the umlauts over the appropriate letters but
somehow my system wont work e.g. alt plus 0196 for umlaut capital 'A'.
I am going to 'save' this just in case, just as i saved griese
