Charles Henry Boren, son of William R. Boren and Aurora Hendrix / Hendricks, was born May 22, 1872 in Illinois. Henry died February 11, 1911 in Jasper County, Missouri and was buried at Golden City, Barton Co., MO where his parents were also buried. His mother Aurora Hendricks Boren died in December 1933 Tarrant County, Missouri, then buried at Golden City, Barton Co., MO.
On the 1910 Jasper Co., MO census, Henry Boren was married to Lillie Swafford, second marriage for both, married 9 years; with her son EDDIE DOBBS born 1892 McDonald Co., MO and his daughter HAZEL BOREN, born about 1899 MO.
By 1917, Eddie Dobbs had died while working as a miner in Jasper Co., MO with his mother, Mrs. LILLIE SWAFFORD, providing the information.
Mrs. LILLIE SWAFFORD died Feb. 1, 1951 in Jasper County; her parents were JOHN M. BECK and EMMA PAGE, so she was married at least 3 times.
Question: Henry's first wife, May, died after the census in 1900 because Henry and Lillie married in 1901. So what was May's maiden name? What happened to Hazel Boren--she was either married by 1920 or living out or state or dead. She did not live with her grandmother Aurora, so what happened to Hazel?
