Fred, I thought I'd check in again with you. Do you know the names of the three Borens that are buried in the Dulaney Graveyard? I am still searching for the killer of my husband's GGrandfather, Washington Boren, who was Israel Boren's son. Family history is that he was shot and killed in a saloon in Collin Co. TX(Helen Meeks book) in 1879) but Washington, Olivia(His first and only wife)and their son Charles, age 13,(my husband's Grandfather) are listed in the 1880 Census in Callahan Co. Tx. Have you come across anything about where our Washington Boren was killed? Was it in Collin Co. or Callahan Co. TX ? There were two Washington Boren's in Collin Co. Tx at the same time and I think everyone has the impression that there was only one. I went to the courthouse in Collin Co. Tx and got all three Marriage license for the Washington Borens and they are two seperate people. Were both Washington Boren's murdered? I hope you have come across something that will solve this. I think the Washington Boren that was in the Morgan spy co. in the Civil is mine. Washington T was in the 16th Texas Cavalry, and not mine. Thanks for any help you can give me. Bettye Carnahan.
