Fred, I have another question about Nancy, wife of James Boren, b. 1768. The birth date every one uses of 1754 could not possibly be correct. Nancy would have been 59 years old when she had her last child, Sarah Ledbetter Boren, b. 1813. Her first child was born 1785 and her last 1813, so her birth date would probable be 1765/1769. I have a copy of the 1850 census for Ellis Co. Tx. and it clearly states that she is 96 years old. She could not be 96 and have had Sarah mentioned above. The census must be incorrect and everyone is still using this date of 1754 as her birth year. Any Ideas? Bettye Carnahan.
