Crocker-Boren Cemetery, San Augustine Co., TX.

William's parents were William W. BOREN Sr. b. 1766 Salisbury, Rowan Co., NC, d. aft. 1851 Madison Co., MO & Ruth DUFF b. 1765 SC, d. 1834 Madison Co., MO. William Sr. & Ruth were married 2 Dec 1786 Pendleton Dist. SC?.
William was the nephew of James BOREN (husband of Nancy) & the grandson of John B. BOREN Sr. & Sarah UNKNOWN.

Catherine BOREN's parents were Matthew BOREN b. 1774 Pendelton District, SC, d. 18 Oct 1845 Cape Giradeau Co., MO & Keziah UNKNOWN b. 1778. Matthew was the brother of William W. BOREN Sr. This makes William & Catherine first cousins.
