I'm just starting to research this family for a girl her in WV. She knows nothing about her family. Her father died when she was one year old.
Her father was William Mitchell Fitch born 26 March 1911 in Ky. and died 8 Mar 1973 in Fayette Co., WV. He lived in Kanawha Co. His death certificate lists his parents as Wallace Fitch and Emma Borders.
Wallace's death certificate lists him as James W. Fitch born 14 May 1867 in Ky and died 26 June 1924 in Fayette Co., WV. His parents are listed as John Fitch and Sarah Howard. Records from Kentucky Marriages 1851 - 1900 list the marriage of John Fitchpatrick to Sarah Howard as 26 May 1866 in Lawrence Co., Ky.
All three are buried at the Greencastle Cemetery, Greencastle on Paint Creek in Kanawha Co., WV.

Emma Fitch 1878 - 14 March 1957
J. W. Fitch 14 May 1867 - 26 June 1924
William Fitch 1911 - 1973.
Williams wife was Earnestine G. Barnett that died Dec 20, 2003 in Kanawha Co. at the age of 71. She is also buried at Greencastle.
