There is no connection between John Borders 1779 TN and John Borders 176X (NC/PA?)who married Mary Champion. John & Mary Champion Borders had these children:

2. Lewis 1803 NC, m 1828 Pike Co GA, Catherine McGinty 1813 GA, d/o John McGinty.
3. Abram/Abraham 1805 SC, d 185X Pike Co GA, m 1835 Pike Co GA, Sarah Horton 1816 GA, d/o William Horton.
4. Benjamin 1806 NC, d 1860 Carroll Co GA, m 1832 Pike Co GA, Martha McGinty 1810 GA, d/o John McGinty.
5. Dau 1805-10.
6. Dau 1805-10.
7. Eliza 181X, m 1838 Pike Co GA, Anthony Hartsfield.
8. Rebecca 1814 GA, m 1838 Pike Co GA, Richard Hartsfield.
9. Frances 1815 GA, m 1855 Pike Co GA, Richard Hartsfield, former husband of sister Rebecca.
10. Burrell 1816 GA, m 1st 1845 Pike Co GA, Mary Elizabeth Reynolds 1829 GA, d 187X Newton Co GA, m 2nd 1877 Newton Co GA, Matilda Day 1831 GA.
