FYI: Clyde Borders 1906 NC-1979, s/o Robert Franklin Borders 1875 NC-1962 & Laura Lee Hamrick 1885 NC-1963, m 1st Elizabeth Moss 1907-1934, m 2nd Marie Harris, b 1915. This Borders line continues back to Albert Irvin Borders 1836 NC-1922 & his 1st wife Cynthia Louisa Ellis 1839 NC-1893, then to John Borders 1809 SC-1894 & his 1st wife Dicey Sepaugh 1806 SC-1868, and then to Michael Borders 1781 SC-1849 & Susan Quinn 1783 SC-1870. Michael's father has not been proven, but from family stories about his father going on to Georgia, perhaps the father is either Michael Borders & Mary Hopton of Jackson Co GA or John Borders & Mary Champion of Pike Co GA.
