Just wanted to correct my earlier postings.
My 3g-gm Martha Borders m James M. Whatley. She dau. of John & Mary Ann "Polly" Borders, Pennsylvania Dutch is what it says on back of copies of portraits I have.
They had daughter Mary F. Whatley who married James Henderson Spier. She's buried in Dadeville, AL, & he in Fayetteville, GA.
They had daughter Martha Elisabeth Spier who married James Madison Coleman Vaughan 12/21/1882. He was born &
raised in Dadeville, Tallapoosa Cty, Alabama, moved to Graysville, GA & lived there with Martha 'til his death 1913.
