Catherine "Katy" Bordors BROWN is my GGgrandmother. My Ggrandfather was William Wallace BROWN, b. 14 Dec. 1830, Lawrence Co., Ky. I have only been at this for a few months and would like to communicate with others that may be farther down the trail than I. William Wallace BROWN removed from Ky. sometime after the Civil War, just when is unknown with his wife Edith E. Whitley and his children to Kansas and Okla. William Wallace served with various CSA Partisan Ranger outfits from in Ky. and a Virginia Cav. outfit at the end, I have been told that his father John was a Col. in the 45th Ky. Mtd. Inf. (Union) Are there any other BROWNS out there? or married into the BROWNS or BORDORS that can be of some help?.
