Hi, I am a direct descendent of John Borders by way of his daughter Polly. She married Isom Daniel. They had nine children. According to my info John was with Cornwallis at the surrender at Yorktown. Do you know anything about that aspect? His wife's father's name was Hezekiah, thus John's son by the same name. My source says that Michael was a surveyor in the summer of 1814. Have a great day.
