According to Booths Record of La Confederate Soldiers, three Bordelons first initials, G., M.P., and S.G. joined the Atchafalaya Guards which later became Co H, 2nd La Infantry Regiment and served in the Army of Northern Virginia. M.P. was a 2nd Lt and killed at Malvern Hill on July 1, 1862. The other two were both wounded and captured at Gettysburg and apparently survived the war. Can anybody fill in full names for initials and shed any genealogy light on these southern patriots.
