Looking for descedants of the following Borchers families from Ostfriesland, Germany:
Klaas Abben Borchers & Wopke Geerds Müller - their children were Taatje, Antje, Abbo(Abbe) Klaassen & Geertjedina. Came to this country around 1868 and settled in Emerald, NE. Klaas was born on 23 Jun 1827 in Ihren and died 26 Feb 1893 in Emerald. Wopke was born 4 Jan 1835 in Ihrhove.
Jan Hisken Borchers & Evertje Alberts Griese - they had 7 children, 5 daughters and 2 sons of whom 1 son and 2 daughters preceded him in death. Came to this country in 1866 and lived in Adeline, IL. I only know the names of 4 children, Börchert Janssen, Thalke Janssen, Albertdina Janssen & Trientje Janssen. Evertje was born about 1825 in Nortmoor and died on 3 Oct 1870 in Adeline, IA. Jan remarried to Gretje Cirksena in 1873. She died in 1914 in Parkersburg, IA. She had 3 daughters. Jan was born on 20 Oct 1822 in Klinge and died on 20 Jan 1904 in Grundy Center, IA.
Evert Evers Börchers & Harmanna Klaassen Strenge - their children were Janna, Johanna, Jantje, Trientje, Meijedina, Hilkea & Everdina Harmanna. Came to this country in 1883. Harmanna was born on 10 Oct 1832 in Tjüche and died in 1884 in Ackley, IA. Evert was born on 5 Mar 1828 in Ihrhove and died on 31 Mar 1906 in Ackley, IA.
Klaas Everts Borchers & Elizabetha Dirks Harms - their children were Evert, Feekedina, Dirk Harms, Kuno & Jantje. Came to this country in 1889. Elizabetha was born on 28 Apr 1848 in Ihrhove and died on 20 Mar 1893 in Charles City, IA. Klaas was born 9 Feb 1838 in Ihrhove and died in 1914 at his daughter's home in Big Stone City, SD, and was buried at Charles City, IA. One of their daughters was married to Carl W. Schroeder of Charles City, IA, and the other was married to Evert B. Strenge of Big Stone City, SD. Their son, Evert, was from Chicago, IL, and Kuno was from Princeton, MN.
