Dear William,
Thank you so much for responding to my message. It is certainly possible that there is a relation somewhere. The names Heinrich, Johann, & Freidrich are all common names in my family from ggf to the present. Naturally Americanized they are Henry, John & Fredrich. Mine immigrated in 1913 to USA. They never had contact with their family in Russia once they left.
There is a community of Volga region Germans in Chicago where my grandparents went first and an aunt later settled there. I am trying to make a contact there.
It is slow going, especially at first, but fun and interesting. Hang in there.
