I have some info on Boots' in Sussex Co., England. My family line comes from the Rye, Staplecross, Ewhurst Green, and Bodiam area. I have them, starting with Richard Boots born in 1585. I do not have a Mary Boots born in 1760 nor do I have a Salehurst mentioned in my records but that may not mean anything. You can't imagine how long it took to find Staplecross. I do have several Mary's from that time period though. Do you have any clues on any siblings names or other locations in Sussex County? Where and when did your family go when they arrived in America (I am assuming you are in the U.S.)
