Jeanette, In my linage research Eli Boots,b.1815 OH d.1876 IN (m.1834 Martha Lackey) was the son on Jacob Boots b.1788 VA d.1851 IN (m.1813 Anna Hagler). Jacob was the son of George Boots born before 1765 VA died before 1802. George was the son of Adam (Stieffel) Boots. Hopefully this will be of some help. I'm interested in the other inquiries posted since it seems they may be of similiar linage.
