We have just recently found out that the name Boots was Stiefel in Germany. Solomon Boots
father was Garrett Stiefel from Hardy, Virginia and his mother was Elizabeth Peterson. Garrett's father was Adam Stiefel from Mangabohrnnm, Germany. Elizabeth's father was Hans Martin Bidert from Switerzland. Hope this brings help.
